Todays zquest bounty is the Vengeful Aatxe again. I'll be interested to see if it starts randomly selecting the same bosses from the existing list.

They probably dont consider this a major issue, as its still running in some way, and can let those who didnt manage before, to catch up a bit, in a way.

But yeh, somewhat annoying...

Anet has confirmed that there was a problem with the last patch, the zq reset to a certain point. They will see what they can do in the next update on Thursday as there have been problems lately.

I'm waiting for the zbounty to be a bounty on a type of enemy other than a boss/boss-like (see Iron Forgeman), FoW, or UW. (Stone Summit anyone?)

Yeah, there have been a few repeats on the bounties and missions (Venta Cemetery for example). I hope that doesn't happen often, as if it did the Zaishen dailies would get boring fast. That would cause people to be bored with the game once again while they await Guild Wars 2.

Considering the team that works on Guild Wars now is a lot smaller than what it once was, you had better get used to it and stop putting these on-the-edge comments that Guild Wars is a failing game. Yes, it is a bug and they are trying to resolve it. For now, enjoy the fact that you can pick up a bounty you might have dropped earlier because you didn't have room for one you deemed a higher priority (or ones that are easy to farm, for example Chahbek Village which will hopefully come before the fix).

Since some of the missions and bounties have been repeats and others have not, and since there have not previously been any repeats, I think it is safe to conclude that:

1) There is a finite list of both.
2) The game randomly fills missions and bounties every day with one caveat: the game will not repeat a quest until the entire list for that type of quest has been completed.

This seems to work differently from the PvP quests, which (perhaps due to the limited variety) appear to follow a fixed rotation.

If that's the list, they forgot about:

- Maw The Mountain Heart
- The Five Acolytes with the Dervish Form Elite Skills.

I'm sure they'll get a chance to come up, so no worries about it repeating now.

It doesnt seem like the Missinos and quests are randomly generated (or at least not daily random generation).

What im guessing that normally happens is that the list is generated once a month and set to a calendar date. This update seems to have messed up the date of the Zaishen quest calendar and the server thinks were a few days behind which would result in these repeat quests.
